UNP Mechanical Engineering lecturers do community service at State Vocational Schools 1 Tanjung Raya, Agam District, for two days on 30-31 August 2022. This service activity was led by Rifelino, S.Pd., M.T and Zainal Abadi, S.Pd., M.Eng as well 2 Arifin Januar and Berril Habibil Rizka students. The purpose of this service is to provide training for State Vocational High School teachers 1 Tanjung Raya on Technology Utilization Additive Manufacturing (AM).

Manufacturing design technologyWhat AM does is make creative objects in the form of 3D in the form of a prototype. Technological development (AM) currently able to produce products in the form of 3 dimensions that utilize additivesPLA(Polylactid Acid) as the main material. The creation of simple objects can be used as a medium of learning in schools and can even produce artistic knick-knacks of economic value.

Not only delivering training materials on creative product design and realizing it in miniature orprototype3 dimensions, This service activity also donates 1 3D engine unitPrinting on behalf of the school. It is hoped that productive teachers at State Vocational Schools 1 Tanjung Raya is motivated to develop this technology and pass it on to students at school.
