S1 Mechanical Engineering study program (PSTM) standing in the year 2017 based on SK Kemenristek Dikti No 624/KPT/I/2017 dated 9 November 2017. Even though it's new, fans to get into PSTM is quite high. At the beginning of the first batch of student admissions, it is carried out in the July-December semester 2018, the number of fans who registered to PSTM around 1915 people, while only those who pass 36 people accepted through three registration channels: SNMPTN, SBMPTN and independent path. For next year, Interests to become PSTM FT-UNP students are getting higher and higher 2022 people who come from high school and vocational school from various provinces in Sumatra.
